Location & Contract

Work locations include Melbourne, FL; Dallas/Frisco, TX; or Cary, NC. Candidates from other locations must be ready to work from the HCL office. This is a W2 contract position.

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years ServiceNow Developer experience and 10+ years in IT.
  • Expertise in support implementation, administration, configuration, and development of the ServiceNow tool.
  • Extensive scripting, tool configuration, design, technical configuration and deployment on ServiceNow.
  • Experience in developing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and workflows.
  • Knowledge of system/process automation and system integrations using web services and web-based technologies (XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP).
  • Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, CSS, HTML (and HTML5), and AngularJS.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work rotational shifts including nights.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of Configuration Management related to ITIL and CSDM in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, JDBC).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Fundamental networking knowledge including TCP/IP, firewalls, and network protocols.
  • Strong presentation, writing, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in ServiceNow administration: workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, catalog items, etc.
  • Minimum ServiceNow CSA/CIS certification and ITIL/CAD ServiceNow certifications.
