Role Description
The Senior Software Development Engineer OCI will join the Oracle Cloud Marketplace team to design, develop, and scale a platform for purchasing cloud software solutions. You will contribute across the entire stack—from distributed back-end services to e-commerce transactions and interactive web apps.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale distributed services.
- Implement end-to-end solutions including backend and UI layers.
- Collaborate with a diverse team in a start-up environment.
- Design, launch, and maintain cloud services at scale.
- Contribute to an evolving cloud marketplace platform.
Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience, 5+ years software development, proficiency in Java and/or GoLang, Python, Javascript, HTTP, Terraform, and algorithm design.
Preferred: Experience with distributed cloud services, virtualization, orchestration stacks, and building intuitive web UIs.
Additional Information
This role is onsite in Nashville, TN (priority) or Austin, TX (secondary) with relocation assistance.
