About the Role
The Senior Incident Manager role at Senior Incident Manager is a 6-month contract position requiring a calm and decisive leader to manage critical IT incidents across diverse technology environments. The role demands exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of modern enterprise tech stacks.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact for high-severity incidents.
- Lead incident response across Web, Azure, Mainframe, Power Platform, .NET, and Dynamics platforms.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for impact assessment and resolution.
- Maintain 24/7 availability to respond to critical incidents.
- Provide clear updates to leadership and stakeholders during incidents.
- Document incident timelines, actions taken, and lessons learned.
- Establish and maintain best practices for incident management.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IT incident management or similar leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems and cloud technologies including Azure, .NET, Power Platform, Dynamics, Web infrastructure, and Mainframe environments.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills under pressure.
- Experience with ITIL processes and enterprise incident management frameworks is a plus.
- Availability to work standard business hours and be on-call 24/7.
