About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data DevOps Engineer to join our delivery team. This role is responsible for establishing and optimizing CI/CD, automation, infrastructure deployment and operational engineering practices for a scalable, governed, enterprise-grade data platform. This platform will serve as the single source of truth for analytics, AI, and operational use cases, enabling self-service, accelerating data product delivery, and powering data-driven transformation.
Responsibilities
- Assess current deployment and release practices for the platform.
- Define and implement the DevOps strategy for Microsoft Fabric.
- Configure and optimize repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate deployment processes and establish Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns where applicable.
- Implement environment promotion processes to support seamless transitions across development, staging, and production.
- Integrate automated deployments with operational monitoring tools to ensure platform reliability and visibility.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data governance, and AI teams to enable efficient and secure delivery workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure deployment.
- Strong hands-on skills in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Expertise in configuring repositories, branching, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments.
