Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise data initiatives in a fast-paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data architects, engineering teams, and product owners to ensure high-quality data solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to develop and maintain data mapping documentation
  • Conduct data quality assessments and identify inconsistencies
  • Perform root cause analysis for data-related issues
  • Support data migration and data integration projects
  • Operate in an Agile product development environment
  • Manage stakeholder requests with clear prioritization
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
  • Apply design thinking to deliver user-centric, iterative financial solutions
  • Act as liaison between business and engineering teams
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including:
    • User stories
    • Process flows
    • Use cases
    • Acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to align with strategic roadmaps
  • Integrate testing and validation early in the SDLC
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Track defects and ensure timely resolution with QA and development teams

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Data Mapper or in a related role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with Unix CLI
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Proven success in Agile product delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience
  • Attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy
