About the Role
This role will support the Microservices initiative. As a Senior Back End Engineer, you will be part of the software development team and be responsible for writing code to develop Microservices.
Mandatory Skills
- Advanced to Expert level proficiency with Java 8+
- Well versed with Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture
- Well versed with ORM frameworks like JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data
- Well versed with JMS messaging products like Solace, ActiveMQ etc
- Well versed with HTTP and REST
- Well versed in common software design patterns
- Good knowledge of Event Driven Design approach
- Well versed with Spring Cloud, Config Server
- Familiar with cloud services such as AWS
- Experience as hands-on technical lead
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Front-end technologies such as React and Node JS (bug resolution, not expected to do front end development)
Good to Have
- Familiar with CI/CD, Jenkins and build pipelines
- Familiar with containerization using Kubernetes or Docker
- Experience with API gateways and analytics tools
- Familiar with Pivotal Cloud Foundry Platform
