About the Role

The Remote Consulting Full Stack Developer Oracle Health role is a hands-on senior position. You will lead the design, architecture, and development of innovative, distributed AI-first clinical applications and scalable cloud services. This role involves guiding technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of AI-powered, cloud-native healthcare applications.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and healthcare experts for intuitive user experiences.
  • Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance in software and data workflows.
  • Mentor engineers and drive improvements in code quality and system monitoring.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with distributed, cloud-native systems.
  • Expertise in Java and/or front-end JavaScript frameworks (React or Preact).
  • Solid experience with microservices, enterprise web applications, and public cloud platforms.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of scalable system architecture and secure software development.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration in production applications.
  • Experience in developing applications for the healthcare industry.
  • Expertise in cloud data services, automation, and DevOps tooling.
