Purpose:
Use clinical nursing expertise and Epic EHR knowledge to create effective training materials, improve user adoption, and support clinical staff education.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an SME for Epic workflows (Ambulatory, Inpatient, ASAP, etc.).
- Develop training content: eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and workflow guides.
- Translate complex clinical/technical processes into easy-to-understand learning materials.
- Support Epic training delivery and staff onboarding.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and improve learning programs.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and training teams on workflow changes and system updates.
- Identify training gaps and support change management initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.
- Hands-on Epic EHR experience.
- Experience creating training materials or supporting education programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or Clinical Education.
- Experience with eLearning tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).
- Epic trainer, super user, credentialed trainer, or Epic certification.
