Principal Product Manager Maritime Workforce Platform

Join Activesoft, Inc. via Dice and lead product strategy for a maritime workforce platform in a B2B SaaS environment. This fulltime, permanent remote position entails product leadership and management responsibilities, partnering with the Chief Product Officer to define vision, strategy, and execution of a suite of modules within a maritime workforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-own vision, strategy, and execution alongside the CPO.
  • Develop customer-centric product strategies balancing market needs and technical feasibility.
  • Lead product discovery, validation, and roadmap creation.
  • Manage backlogs, write user stories, and prioritize features.
  • Partner with engineering to plan sprints and ensure release readiness.
  • Define and monitor key product KPIs for continuous improvement.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and liaison for internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior product or business analyst resources.
  • Establish best practices for agile rituals and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5-8+ years in product management with B2B SaaS experience.
  • Experience with workforce management, HR tech, compliance, maritime/logistics software, or related fields.
  • Proven skills in product discovery frameworks like JTBD, Kano, or Lean Product.
  • Strong ability to drive alignment across senior leadership, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Excellent data analysis and product storytelling skills.
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, and product-led growth (PLG) principles.
  • Familiarity with scaling product teams in a private-equity-backed environment.
