About the Opportunity

Jobs via Dice, on behalf of Itech Enterprises, is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer Admin. This role focuses on designing, developing, and administering high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports in support of retail business intelligence initiatives. The role involves collaboration with merchandising, marketing, finance, and operations teams to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and visualizations for retail use cases such as sales performance and inventory analysis.
  • Translate retail business needs into scalable and insightful BI solutions.
  • Build data models, measures, and KPIs using DAX and Power Query.
  • Optimize report performance for large volumes of POS, ERP, and e-commerce data.
  • Administer and manage the Power BI Service production environment.
  • Collaborate across Technology, Vendor, and Operational teams for data-related insights.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Software Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in Power BI dashboard development.
  • 2+ years of experience administering Power BI in production.
  • Advanced skills in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • MS Power BI Certification and minimum 5 years of experience with BI tools.
  • Knowledge in SQL, data modeling, and OLAP concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft BI stack including Power Pivot, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
  • Additional experience with Python scripting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practices.
