Job Summary
SAIC is searching for a Multimedia Training Developer to join the team. This position is fully remote, with the team based in Huntsville, AL.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing and programming media for use in interactive eLearning training products. The Multimedia Training Developer will interact with team members, customers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop interactive Web-Based Training (WBT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) products for government and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Create top quality graphic designs and illustrations.
- Develop animations, interactive exercises, and other media for training courses.
- Perform advanced programming tasks for course navigation and interactivity.
- Deploy courses within Learning Management Systems.
- Remain current with eLearning industry tools and technology.
- Manage time efficiently, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines.
- Work and lead effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
Required Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design, Computer Science, or similar from an accredited college or university and 0-3 years of related experience is required. A combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to perform programming tasks using JavaScript, XML and/or JSON, and HTML/HTML5.
- Demonstrated experience creating interactive multimedia content, including animation and interactive exercises.
- Strong graphic design and illustration skills using Photoshop and vector-based graphics program(s).
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively in a team environment and lead small groups of digital artists.
- A portfolio is required (an online portfolio is preferred).
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance at Secret level or higher.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the life cycle of design of training content from concept through project completion.
- Experience with e-Learning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Storyline).
- Video editing experience.
- 3D Modeling and/or Unity game engine experience.
- Learning Management System (LMS) and SCORM or xAPI experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
