Role Summary: Microsoft 365 / GenAI Engineer

The Microsoft 365 / GenAI Engineer is a hands-on technical implementer responsible for designing, building, and supporting secure integrations, connectors, and operational controls across Microsoft 365 and enterprise Large Language Model (LLM) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain integrations utilizing Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and enterprise authentication mechanisms.
  • Implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), data retention policies, Sensitivity Labels, and secure configurations within Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Administer and operationalize enterprise LLM platforms, including Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Claude.
  • Develop robust connectors, automations, and reusable patterns specifically tailored for AI and Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve permission issues, data routing complexities, and cross-workspace access challenges.
  • Implement stringent conditional access policies and secure identity authentication flows.
  • Provide expert hands-on engineering support for data governance enforcement initiatives.

Required Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in coding and scripting, particularly with PowerShell, Python, and Graph queries.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, covering core services like SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and OneDrive.
  • Proven experience integrating and managing various enterprise Generative AI platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of prompt patterns, AI safety protocols, and enterprise-level AI control mechanisms.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise security principles and the implementation of least-privilege access models.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate high-level policy requirements into effective automated technical enforcement solutions.
