About the Jr QA Role at SYSTEM SOFT TECHNOLOGIES LLC
As a Jr QA Analyst for SYSTEM SOFT TECHNOLOGIES LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and user-friendliness of internal applications. This remote position requires you to work EST hours, focusing on both manual and automated testing from a customer-centric perspective. You will collaborate closely with Software Developers, Product Management, and Customer Support throughout the development cycle.
The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of software QA best practices and practical experience with various testing protocols and tools. Your role will involve driving the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies and advocating for the best patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality is an essential part of internal applications as an agile development team member.
- Act as a patient advocate, identifying gaps in requirements to ensure a user-friendly experience.
- Deliver and execute effective and efficient test methods and use case scenarios.
- Create, maintain, and execute regression suites, driving automation efforts where feasible.
- Identify and communicate quality process improvements for all test requirements.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Jr QA Analyst, you should have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in Information Technology.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, Postman, and MSSQL.
- Essential experience with backend testing.
- A strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, synthesizing information from partial sources.
- The ability to identify and ask challenging questions to uncover issues.
- A passion for Quality Assurance balanced with business release needs.
- Capacity to see both the big picture and perform detailed analyses.
- Self-direction and goal orientation, with the ability to grasp difficult concepts.
- Strong technical, logical, and reasoning skills, complemented by clear verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with testing strategies, planning, creation, and execution within an agile framework, including continuous integration practices.
- The ability to collaborate with agile software development and QA teams to coordinate and review activities.
- Proactive communication skills to address and resolve issues with peers and management.
- Solid knowledge of current Quality Assurance methodologies, best practices, and toolsets.
- Understanding of Relational database design and Azure (a plus).
- Hands-on experience with automated testing using TestCafe and JavaScript (a plus).
- A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in an IT field.
- Availability to work 8 am - 5 pm Eastern time zone.
