About the Role

Jobs via Dice, representing Protos IT, is seeking a Jr. Project Manager to support a data lake implementation. This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring project activities while ensuring effective communication and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and task lists.
  • Track deliverables and deadlines; prepare status reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, team members, and leadership.
  • Schedule meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses and flag variances.
  • Update project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Trello).
  • Identify risks and issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of IT Project Manager experience. Experience in data lake implementations is required. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
