Human Resource Business Partner at New Millennium Consulting

Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, New Millennium Consulting, is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to support their Fortune 100 client.

This is an impactful and hands-on contract role, ideal for an experienced HR Business Partner with the expertise to strategically advise and influence. You will liaise with HR Centers of Excellence and the broader HR organization to develop and execute programs, processes, and tactical business requirements. This role acts as a visible partner to the business and serves as the primary point of contact between line organizations and HR senior management, addressing business needs across all HR functions including employee engagement & culture, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and employee relations.

Duration & Location

  • Duration: 4 - 6 months
  • Location: Plano, TX
  • Hourly Rate: $30 - $35 per hour (W2)

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6-8+ years of relevant experience is required, specifically with larger employers or client groups. SHRM CP/SCP certification is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive People Strategy within assigned client groups, ensuring strong alignment between business operations and HR practices and objectives.
  • Provide thought leadership and insightful data to guide decision-making and offer proactive solutions.
  • Offer expertise in key areas such as career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
  • Consult with and coach senior leadership on talent management strategy.
  • Support and execute cyclical HR programs and actively participate in projects related to human capital and organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure the execution of HR processes and maintain HR data integrity for supported organizations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management, actively reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, partnering with the legal department as needed.
  • Interface effectively with the Sr. Director of HR, VPs/SVPs within client groups and the People Team, and employees at all levels.
  • Align business goals and objectives with People policy and practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6-8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent listening skills, an influential style, and proactive solutioning abilities are essential for success.
  • Must possess a high degree of sensitivity and change management abilities when dealing with intercultural personnel and corporate dynamics.
  • Experience in organizational integrations, design, and change management.
  • Proven track record of managing employment-related investigations to successful resolution with support from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and direct activities of other employees, directly or indirectly, to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Capacity to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple simultaneous Human Resources related projects and programs in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Ability to make professional presentations and communicate complex matters clearly in writing (e-mails, reports) or orally to audiences with high technical skills and operational experience.
  • Adept at convincing others, including stakeholder leadership, VPs, directors & managers, staff, and vendors with opposing views, to resolve conflict, accept plans, or approve project recommendations.
  • Skilled in negotiating on behalf of the function to reach agreements through discussions and compromise.
  • Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite required, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Workday (Core HCM) is strongly preferred.
