Job Description
Job Summary for Google Cloud Platform Architect
We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud architecture, migration, DevOps, and data services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architectures using Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.)
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-prem/AWS/Azure to Google Cloud Platform
- Implement security best practices including IAM, VPC, encryption, and compliance controls
- Design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation strategies
- Optimize cloud cost, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform core services
- Experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud governance
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure is a plus)
- Google Cloud Platform certifications preferred (Professional Cloud Architect)
