Job Description: Front End Architect

Our client, MSYS Inc., is actively seeking a highly experienced Front End Architect with over 12 years of experience. This pivotal role focuses on designing and building modern, scalable, and user-focused web applications. You will be instrumental in leveraging cutting-edge technologies like React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and various CMS platforms to deliver exceptional user experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams, translating complex business requirements into intuitive and high-performance interfaces, all while adhering to lean development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and development of modern, scalable web applications.
  • Design and implement user-focused interfaces using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Integrate and manage content through various CMS platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Work with Engineering teams to ensure efficient and performant solutions.
  • Champion lean development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and robust front-end solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in front-end development and architecture.
  • Deep expertise in React and Next.js frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Proven experience with CMS platforms.
  • Demonstrable ability to build scalable and user-focused web applications.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with lean development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Work Arrangement & Location

This is a long-term, W2 remote position. The candidate will be expected to work remotely, with the base location being Dimondale, MI.
