Description:
We have a client that has deployed Fortinac, but they don't feel like they're getting the full potential, and they want to add an additional location. We are looking for a resource that can scope the opportunity and execute the implementation.
Sites & Scale:
Number of locations and rough switchport counts:
- Currently, there are five sites, with a sixth turning up over the next two months.
- Mineral Wells, TX: Switch Count: 33, Switch Port Count: 792, WAP Count: 68
- Fort Worth, TX: Switch Count: 11, Switch Port Count: 480, WAP Count: 4
- Auburndale, FL: Switch Count: 10, Switch Port Count: 216, WAP Count: 32
- Aurora, OH: Switch Count: 8, Switch Port Count: 192, WAP Count: 13
- Kingman, AZ: Switch Count: 11, Switch Port Count: 228, WAP Count: 21
- Nashville, AR (New Facility): Switch Count: 7, Switch Port Count: 288, WAP Count: 45
Network Infrastructure:
Switch/AP models and firmware versions:
- Fortiswitches: FS-1024E, FS-448E-FPOE, FS-424E-FPOE, FSR-112D-FPOE, FS-124E
- FortiAP: FAP431F, FAP-432F, FAP-241K-A (Nashville, AR Only), FAP-243K-A (Nashville, AR Only)
- Firmware: Fortigates: v7.2.11 build1740 (Mature), Switches: v7.4.1-build787,230921(GA), WAP: v7.2-build0424
Device Mix:
Counts of workstations, printers, IP phones, IoT devices, BYOD/VPN users.
Identity Sources:
AD, Okta, Azure AD or any HR/CMDB integrations.
Current NAC/Segmentation:
Any existing 802.1X, DHCP quarantine or VLAN/firewall segmentation. FortiNAC is being used to appropriate VLAN.
Enforcement & Orchestration:
Preferred methods (MAB, 802.1X, API calls), and integrations (ServiceNow, Tenable/Qualys, SIEM). No integrations currently.
