Epic Optime/Anesthesia Analyst
Dice, the leading career destination for tech experts, is seeking a certified Epic Optime/Anesthesia Analyst on a 3-month contract basis. This role is primarily remote with an on-site requirement from 11/3 to 11/14.
Key Responsibilities
Epic Configuration & Optimization: Design, build, and maintain Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules. Translate clinical and operational requirements into Epic configurations. Ensure system settings meet standards and compliance needs with detailed documentation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Anesthesia SMEs and clinical managers to gather requirements and validate workflows. Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize project deliverables.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Develop and execute test plans, identify and resolve issues, and document test outcomes.
System Maintenance & Upgrades: Evaluate Epic upgrades, coordinate implementations, and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations.
Support: Respond to support tickets, troubleshoot issues within SLA timelines, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for staff.
Travel: Required travel for 2-3 weeks in November 2025 to support go-live stabilization, with on-site work during that period.
Qualifications
- Epic Certification in OpTime and Anesthesia (minimum 3 years held)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in Epic build and implementation
- Strong understanding of anesthesia workflows and clinical decision support
- Experience with system-wide go-live, build validation, and post-live stabilization
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to develop reference materials and training documentation
- Associates Degree required
