About the Role: Entry Level Content Specialist
The Entry Level Content Specialist is a high-performing content expert responsible for assessing content alignment with partner-generated guidelines. This role combines the focused discipline of a curator with the judgment and precision of an experienced content reviewer, ensuring timely, accurate, and context-aware outputs. As a Super Rater, you will retain focus, prioritize effectively, and make rating decisions under timed task intervals. Equally important is your role in refining processes and supporting peers, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Education:
- Master’s degree - Preferred in English, Communications, Journalism, Linguistics, Psychology, or a related field.
Required Qualifications:
- Operating tasks within a specific timeframe and on a system-generated timer.
- Operating in high-volume environments, demonstrating the ability to manage stress and maintain composure.

Preferred Experience:
- Prior roles as a Curator, Rater, Annotator, Editor, or Quality Reviewer.
- Preferred success in a high-volume, time-bound content or rating role.
- Experience with AI/LLM evaluation, content moderation, or data labeling platforms.
- Familiarity with QA and tracking tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Time-Sensitive Content Execution:
- Complete timed task assignments efficiently while meeting or exceeding quality benchmarks.
- Navigate complex instructions and evolving guidelines with accuracy under time constraints.
- Maintain consistent performance under pressure by employing strategies to manage stress and maintain focus.
- Demonstrate strong time management, focus, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Balance speed with precision in a high-output, deadline-driven environment.
- Review services for text, video, audio, and image content in the English language (additional languages may be requested).
- Review, label, transcribe data for evaluations, machine learning, language translations, and production-oriented pipelines, including images, audio, text, videos, and still frames.
- Document and revise partner-facing guideline sources.
Content Curation & Review:
- Serve as a reviewer, sometimes the final reviewer of curated data, applying expert-level attention to detail.
Quality Assurance & Communication:
- Document production and accuracy metrics, and other project trackers.
- Report behavioral trends, edge cases, and content anomalies to Task Leads.
- Contribute to guideline improvement through regular feedback and insights.
- Identify inconsistencies, correct errors, ensure clarity, escalate ambiguities, and suggest improvements to guidelines, workflows, and accuracy across deliverables.
Guideline Ownership & Protocol Adherence:
- Stay current with demos, instruction updates, and protocol changes.
- Rigorously follow GSQ Protocol and style guides with minimal rework.
- Leverage productivity tooling effectively and adapt to new systems and processes with ease.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged Sitting: Ability to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods (typically up to 7-8 hours per day with normal breaks).
- Manual Dexterity / Typing: Frequent use of hands and fingers to type, input data, navigate computer systems, and handle documents.
- Computer and Monitor Use: Continuous use of the computer, keyboard, and mouse to perform work duties.
- Visual Acuity: Ability to view computer screens, read digital and paper documents, and enter information accurately.
- Communication: Ability to interact with colleagues and supervisors via email, instant messaging, and virtual/video meetings.
- Mobility Within Office: Occasional movement within the office to attend meetings, or collaborate with coworkers.
- Standard Office Environment: Work performed in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels; job requires concentration and attention to detail.
