About the Cyber Consultant Role

Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts. Our client, Xoriant Corporation, is seeking a Cyber Consultant to drive cybersecurity strategy, risk management, incident response, and team leadership in a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Cybersecurity Strategy & Policy Development: Create comprehensive strategies and policies aligned with global business objectives.
  • Risk Management and Threat Analysis: Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks while performing regular threat assessments.
  • Incident Response and Recovery: Establish and lead incident response protocols to minimize operational impact.
  • Solution Development Based on Risk: Develop tailored cybersecurity solutions and continuously monitor evolving threats.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work with global IT leadership and report cybersecurity performance to executives.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Oversee a global cybersecurity team, promoting security awareness and cultural alignment.
  • Technology and Vendor Management: Select and manage cybersecurity technologies and third-party vendors.

Decision Making Authority

The Cyber Consultant can decide on technical direction, project execution milestones, and resource allocation, with higher-level decisions reserved for significant budget or strategic shifts.

Position Requirements

  • Degree in a technology-related field or business administration
  • Professional security management certification (CISSP, CISM preferred)
  • Over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity with global leadership exposure
  • Proficiency in risk frameworks including NIST and ISO 27001
  • Experience with multinational teams and complex regulatory environments

IT Skills & Expertise

  • Cybersecurity Program Development
  • Framework and Compliance Proficiency (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
