Corporate Event Manager

Key Objectives

  • Deliver high-quality events aligned with marketing goals and audience expectations.
  • Design event experiences based on campaign objectives and audience needs.
  • Manage logistics, vendors, agencies, and onsite execution.
  • Handle invitation management including segmentation, guest communication, and tracking.
  • Analyze event performance (before, during, and after events).
  • Ensure consistency across regional events and align with business strategies.
  • Build and manage a network of regional support staff for event execution.
  • Maintain global standards and coordinate with internal teams (web, social, email, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute client-facing events (in-person, virtual, hybrid).
  • Review event requests and determine complexity, tier, and resource requirements.
  • Contribute to global event templates and suggest improvements.
  • Manage event logistics including venues, vendors, and run-of-show plans.
  • Maintain event documentation such as playbooks, briefs, and task lists.
  • Ensure branding, compliance, and documentation standards are followed.
  • Manage invitation processes including guest lists, RSVPs, and communication.
  • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and onsite teams for smooth delivery.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to integrate events into campaigns.
  • Analyze event performance and share insights for improvement.
  • Support onboarding and training of regional event teams.
  • Collaborate with global event managers for alignment and coordination.
  • Share best practices and knowledge across teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (preferred)

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B event management.
  • Experience handling in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Strong experience in event planning, design, and execution.
  • Experience managing invitations, guest lists, and RSVP tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage logistics, budgets, vendors, and timelines.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially during live events.
  • Ability to handle changes and work under pressure.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and regional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to analyze event data and derive insights.
  • Experience managing events across different regions.
