Job Description

Autonomous Vehicle Data Collection Operator

This job description is for an autonomous vehicle data collection driver. We are ideally looking for candidates that have prior autonomous driving experience and/or robotics testing/troubleshooting experience.

The Autonomous Vehicle Data Collection Operator will be covering the following areas: Washington-Arlington-Alexandria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company-provided vehicles on public roads.
  • Drive assigned routes for data collection and mapping.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections before driving.
  • Follow defined driving and data collection procedures.
  • Perform basic system checks and calibrations as trained.
  • Monitor in-vehicle systems during data collection.
  • Coordinate daily with operations teams on routes and schedules.
  • Ensure collected data is transferred according to instructions.
  • Assist with basic equipment setup and troubleshooting.
  • Document and report issues clearly and promptly.

Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Clean driving record; background check and MVR required.
  • Ability to drive 6-8 hours per day.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to follow procedures consistently.
  • Basic computer and technical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and processes.

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
