About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to automate IT operations and cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on building runbook automation, reducing manual work, and improving system efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain automation workflows (runbooks).
- Use Ansible (AWX/Tower) for automation and configuration management.
- Write scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Automate incident/service requests (tickets) in ITSM tools.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and VMware.
- Integrate systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
- Manage and optimize MSSQL databases.
- Automate patching, monitoring, and compliance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and fix automation issues.
Skills Required
- Strong experience in Runbook Automation / iAutomate.
- Hands-on with Ansible (AWX, Tower, Automation Platform).
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
- Knowledge of MSSQL / SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiar with ServiceNow, BMC Helix, or other ITSM tools.
- Understanding of Windows & Linux (RHEL).
- Basic knowledge of networking (DNS, AD, firewall).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
