Position Overview

CAN Softtech Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer / Administrative Assistant to support business and technical teams on projects requiring high-quality documentation, presentations, meeting coordination, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings and capture accurate, structured meeting notes, decisions, and action items.
  • Prepare clear and well-organized technical and business documentation.
  • Create, edit, and format professional documents using Microsoft Word and PDF tools.
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations for internal and client meetings.
  • Create basic graphics, diagrams, charts, and visual elements.
  • Convert raw notes and drafts into polished deliverables.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, and workshops.
  • Manage calendars, meeting invites, agendas, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain document templates, style standards, and version control.
  • Organize and archive documents for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
  • Support preparation of reports, proposals, SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
  • Track action items and follow up to ensure timely closure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong note-taking and listening skills.
  • Excellent written English, editing, and proofreading abilities.
  • Experience in technical writing or business documentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in creating and formatting PDF documents.
  • Ability to create basic graphics and visual layouts.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to summarize complex discussions clearly.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good time management and multitasking ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technical, IT, or project teams.
  • Familiarity with document control and style guides.
  • Experience with diagramming or graphic tools (Visio, Canva, Lucidchart).
  • Experience preparing training materials or knowledge base content.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, or Google Workspace.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, business, IT, or related field with 2–5+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or administrative support roles.
