Job Description
1099 Tax Support Customer Service
Pyramid Consulting, Inc., a leading firm in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a dedicated 1099 Tax Support Customer Service representative. This immediate contract opportunity offers long-term potential and is a remote position based in New York. You will play a crucial role in providing essential support to participants of over 630 Pension Plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized and professional service to Pension Plan participants regarding their 1099 tax forms.
- Handle incoming inquiries, including updating addresses, and facilitating the mailing, emailing, or faxing of duplicate 1099 tax forms for annuitants.
- Respond positively to participant calls, consistently delivering a high level of service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Offer necessary and appropriate assistance for 1099 requests received both by phone and mail.
- Effectively coordinate duties and tasks through proficient prioritization and time management.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
- Proven Customer Service and Inbound Call Handling skills.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail and Accuracy, especially with 1099 tax forms.
- Strong Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written.
- Preferred experience in the Banking and financial Domain.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong Customer and Team Orientation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
