1099 Tax Support Customer Service

Pyramid Consulting, Inc., a leading firm in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a dedicated 1099 Tax Support Customer Service representative. This immediate contract opportunity offers long-term potential and is a remote position based in New York. You will play a crucial role in providing essential support to participants of over 630 Pension Plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized and professional service to Pension Plan participants regarding their 1099 tax forms.
  • Handle incoming inquiries, including updating addresses, and facilitating the mailing, emailing, or faxing of duplicate 1099 tax forms for annuitants.
  • Respond positively to participant calls, consistently delivering a high level of service that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Offer necessary and appropriate assistance for 1099 requests received both by phone and mail.
  • Effectively coordinate duties and tasks through proficient prioritization and time management.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

  • Proven Customer Service and Inbound Call Handling skills.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail and Accuracy, especially with 1099 tax forms.
  • Strong Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written.
  • Preferred experience in the Banking and financial Domain.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong Customer and Team Orientation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
