Technical Support Specialist (Remote)
One of our clients, a global leader in the technology industry, is seeking a skilled Support Engineer to join their team as a contractor. This expert-level role involves providing seamless technical support for cloud-based solutions, utilizing strong scripting, networking, and cloud skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. As a contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and networking
- Utilize scripting skills to automate routine support tasks and improve incident response times
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve technical challenges
- Leverage Jira to track issues, monitor progress, and ensure timely resolution of support tickets
- Analyze TCP/IP networking issues, providing expert guidance and support to customers and internal teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong scripting skills, with experience in automating support tasks and improving incident response times
- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking, including TCP/IP protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in effective customer communication
- Proficiency in Jira, with experience in tracking issues and monitoring progress
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
