Software Engineer (Remote)
Jobs Ai is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our fully remote team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and shipping production-grade software across modern technology stacks including Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Rust, and Java. This role involves building scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services. We are looking for a candidate with strong engineering fundamentals, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to manage features from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production features across frontend, backend, or full-stack layers.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code in your primary language.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
- Collaborate asynchronously with product, design, data, and AI teammates.
- Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience over time.
- Troubleshoot bugs and contribute to production incident response when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, or C#.
- Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, APIs, and databases.
- Experience with Git, code review workflows, and automated testing.
- Strong written English and async communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to LLMs, RAG pipelines, or AI-powered applications.
- Open-source contributions or a public portfolio.
- Experience working with distributed or microservices architectures.
