Role Overview: One of our clients, a global leader in the technology industry, requires a Data Protection Officer (PII Compliance) to oversee the implementation and management of PII compliance protocols, ensuring the protection and lawful processing of personal data. This is a contract role that involves working in a dynamic, remote environment to safeguard sensitive information. As a Data Protection Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining adherence to global regulations and balancing data utility and re-identification risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and management of PII compliance protocols, ensuring the protection and lawful processing of personal data.
- Evaluate data flows and documentation to identify, classify, and mitigate risks associated with structural identifiability, including non-obvious PII and proprietary information.
- Develop and maintain data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with global regulations, such as GDPR.
