About the AR/VR Specialist Role

Mercor and JobHub by NeonLabs are seeking AR/VR Specialists and Interactive Media Developers who blend creativity with technical expertise. In this remote, independent contractor role, you will help leading AI labs bridge storytelling and technology, ensuring immersive content is both artistically compelling and computationally usable. This is a rare opportunity to shape how AI learns from and generates next-generation interactive experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop AR/VR experiences and interactive media workflows
  • Translate creative concepts into implementable formats
  • Ensure asset compatibility with AI-driven systems
  • Evaluate AI-generated immersive content usability and performance
  • Collaborate with researchers on creative-technical workflows

Ideal Backgrounds

  • 3+ years in AR/VR development or computational design
  • Proficiency with Unity, Unreal Engine, WebXR, or similar
  • Experience merging creative storytelling with technical systems
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling, spatial audio, or interactive UX design
  • Ability to work independently in remote, async environments

Details

  • Pay: $45–$65/hour (USD)
  • Hours: 30–40 per week, flexible and project-based
  • Role: Independent contractor under Mercor
