Solutions Architect - Data Governance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect - Data Governance based in the United States.

This is a senior, client-facing architecture role focused on helping organizations build trusted, scalable, and sustainable data governance programs.
You’ll advise executive stakeholders, data leaders, business teams, security organizations, and technical delivery teams on governance strategy and implementation.
The role combines enterprise data governance, Microsoft Purview architecture, metadata management, lineage, stewardship, data quality, and governance operations.
You’ll lead discovery workshops, maturity assessments, architecture reviews, roadmap sessions, and transformation initiatives from strategy through delivery.
You’ll also help organizations prepare their data estates for modern analytics and enterprise AI platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Success in this role means turning complex governance challenges into practical operating models, measurable adoption, and trusted data ecosystems.
