Principal Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Software Engineer based in Brazil.

This is a senior technical leadership role focused on shaping the architecture and engineering standards of a modern cloud-based SaaS platform.
You will act as a technical authority, guiding complex solution design across distributed systems, microservices, APIs, frontend architecture, and cloud technologies.
The role combines deep hands-on engineering with mentorship, technical decision-making, and cross-functional influence.
You will help engineering teams build scalable, secure, highly available, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions.
Working closely with Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and engineering leadership, you will raise technical standards across the platform.
You will also tackle complex production challenges, drive automation and secure development practices, and contribute to high-impact initiatives.
