Principal Software Engineer - Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Software Engineer - Platform based in India.

This is a high-impact engineering role focused on architecting and scaling foundational platform infrastructure for enterprise AI.
You will design distributed systems, platform services, APIs, runtime components, and ingestion frameworks capable of supporting billions of assets and large-scale user workloads.
The role sits at the intersection of data infrastructure, AI applications, cloud platforms, and enterprise SaaS.
You will tackle complex challenges around multi-tenancy, tenant isolation, data contracts, reliability, scalability, and heterogeneous data systems.
As a technical leader, you will shape architecture through RFCs, design reviews, engineering standards, and multi-quarter initiatives.
You will also mentor senior engineers and influence technical decisions across teams while remaining hands-on with production systems and AI-assisted development.
