Jobgether is seeking a talented Senior QA Engineer on behalf of a partner company. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions. You'll lead the charge in designing and implementing quality assurance strategies across the entire software development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on automation, API validation, and seamless integration within CI/CD environments. Your deep expertise will be crucial for collaborating with diverse teams, proactively preventing defects, and significantly enhancing user experiences within complex systems. Accountabilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, covering functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end and integration tests to ensure readiness for production releases.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, contributing to the definition of acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.
• Execute manual exploratory testing as needed to thoroughly validate feature readiness.
• Create, meticulously document, and efficiently troubleshoot defects, providing clear reproduction steps and impact assessments.
• Provide informed Go/No-Go recommendations based on release quality evaluations.
• Perform post-deployment validation and thorough production checkout activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
• Automate complex user workflows and validate distributed systems effectively.
• Improve and maintain test pipelines within continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Ensure all automation scripts meet stringent standards for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute actively to code reviews and architectural discussions focused on quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering, SDET, or Quality Engineering roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Strong practical experience with leading automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
• Advanced knowledge and proven experience in testing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Demonstrated experience integrating automated tests effectively within CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid foundational understanding of distributed systems and high-concurrency environments.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems, fundamental networking concepts, and log analysis techniques.
• Experience in independently designing and executing complex test plans.
• Possess a strong analytical mindset, adopting a preventative approach to quality assurance.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Lean software development methodologies.
