About the Senior Manager Physician Coding Operations Role
Jobgether is seeking a Senior Manager Physician Coding Operations on behalf of a partner company. In this pivotal remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing all Physician Coding Operations, including Outpatient and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Operations. Your core responsibilities involve establishing and managing project plans that effectively meet both business objectives and client requirements, while ensuring robust quality and performance management across all operational parameters. This position demands strong communication skills for interacting with providers and leadership, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks. Success will also hinge on your ability to collaborate effectively with various internal departments to achieve organizational targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee Physician Coding Operations, Outpatient, and CDI Operations.
- Establish and manage project plans aligned with business goals.
- Provide comprehensive education to providers and leadership through both written and oral formats.
- Identify and manage risks related to plan deviation, ensuring operational stability.
- Collaborate effectively with Leadership, Finance, IT, and other support areas to achieve strategic targets.
Requirements
- University Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in physician coding and operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience overseeing physician coding teams.
- Proven experience in Outpatient, Clinical Documentation, and/or Revenue Integrity teams.
- Hold a current CPC coding certification from AAPC.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report creation using tools like Word or Excel.
