Jobgether is seeking a Senior Data Engineer on behalf of a partner company. In this crucial remote role, you will significantly support the Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) team through expert data management and quality oversight. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that compliance-related data is accurate, secure, and fully aligned with internal policies. You will leverage enterprise big data platforms to enhance compliance reporting and audits, contributing to cutting-edge solutions and making a meaningful impact on data governance and compliance initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Support management of compliance-related data assets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Perform basic data access, validation, and analysis using Snowflake and Databricks.
- Assist in enforcing data governance and compliance-related policies.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to identify compliance issues.
- Prepare data for compliance audits and internal assessments.
- Maintain comprehensive data documentation.
- Support ingestion and validation of data from various sources.
- Utilize SQL to query and validate compliance-related datasets.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance compliance reporting.
- Escalate data quality or compliance risks and recommend actions.
- Keep updated on developments in data governance and compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications
Candidates for this Senior Data Engineer position should possess 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and data management, along with working knowledge of Data Governance and Compliance Support. Proficiency in Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, and API Data Integration is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and executive-level presentation abilities. A Big 4 or audit background is preferred. We are looking for individuals with demonstrated people leadership experience, capable of leading global and distributed teams with a high level of autonomy. Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills, and the ability to perform effectively under high-pressure environments are also critical.
