Staff SDET Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff SDET Engineer based in Brazil.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a Staff-level quality engineering professional who can shape automation strategy across the software development lifecycle. You will architect and evolve scalable, reliable test automation frameworks spanning web applications, APIs, and backend services. The role combines deep technical expertise with influence, mentorship, and ownership of quality engineering practices. You’ll help embed testing earlier in development, strengthen CI/CD quality gates, and improve confidence in production releases. The environment is highly collaborative and distributed, with opportunities to influence engineering standards and long-term quality strategy. You’ll also explore emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development and innovative testing methodologies, to continuously improve how software quality is delivered.
