Retail Data Specialist

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain core retail product data including SKUs, pricing, barcodes, and classification attributes.
  • Perform regular data audits and validation routines to ensure high data quality.
  • Implement and monitor both manual and automated controls for data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, retail operations, and analytics teams to resolve data issues.
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and automation.
  • Maintain documentation of business rules, SOPs, data flows, and process improvements.
  • Participate in special projects and system enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, data management or related roles, preferably in retail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of data governance, lifecycle management, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
