This pivotal remote role at Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, focuses on creating and managing high-quality educational content for online learning platforms. As a Lead Academic Content Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring all course materials meet stringent quality standards and comply with accessibility guidelines. Your expertise will drive collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance curriculum design and deliver innovative educational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update course shells in the Learning Management System (LMS) adhering to universal design standards.
• Consult on LMS capabilities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders on comprehensive course development.
• Independently manage the curriculum feedback ticketing system.
• Ensure the course catalog maintains clarity and adheres to established formatting standards.
• Review educational content rigorously for alignment with Quality Matters standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML/coding for content creation and management.
• A degree or certification in educational technology, instructional design, or a closely related academic field.
• Demonstrable experience in professional or academic editing and proofreading.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to report on data and independently manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Adobe Suite and/or various Learning Management Systems.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
