Job Summary: Lead Academic Content Specialist

Key Accountabilities
- Create and update course shells within the Learning Management System (LMS) in accordance with universal design standards.
- Consult on LMS capabilities and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders during the course development process.
- Independently manage the curriculum feedback ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Ensure the entire course catalog maintains compliance with clarity and formatting standards.
- Review all content meticulously for alignment with Quality Matters standards, ensuring high educational integrity.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable HTML/coding experience.
- A degree or relevant certification in educational technology, instructional design, or a closely related academic field.
- Proven experience in professional or academic editing and proofreading.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to report on data effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Adobe Suite and/or various Learning Management Systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet challenging deadlines.
