Head of SRE

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of SRE based in Germany.

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role responsible for establishing and scaling a high-performing Site Reliability Engineering function. You will combine strategic ownership with deep technical execution to strengthen the reliability, security, and scalability of production systems supporting advanced AI products. The role offers significant scope to assess existing infrastructure, redesign operational models, and introduce modern SRE practices where needed. You’ll define reliability standards, improve observability and automation, and build resilient incident management and delivery processes. Working closely with engineering, product, QA, data, and ML teams, you’ll help create a strong culture of operational excellence. You’ll also contribute to engineering leadership and build the team and infrastructure required to support rapid organizational growth.
