About the Role: Head of Innovation

Key Accountabilities

• Act as a true force multiplier for the CIO, translating vision and strategy into clear priorities and executable plans.
• Ensure executive alignment by articulating and integrating innovation initiatives within the leadership team.
• Maintain comprehensive visibility on the innovation portfolio, tracking progress and outcomes effectively.
• Proactively identify and resolve constraints and risks to sustain momentum and prevent slowdowns.
• Design and manage the daily operations of the Innovation Department.
• Define robust processes and execution rhythms that convert initial ideas into scalable results.
• Drive end-to-end execution through structured experimentation and alignment of cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate successful knowledge transfer to core teams, ensuring sustainable innovation practices.
• Enable strong governance frameworks that adeptly balance agility with accountability.

Requirements for Success

• Proficiency in English is essential for daily communication with international colleagues.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or consulting, particularly within high-growth settings.
• Strong technical understanding, coupled with hands-on experience working with engineering or product teams.
• Proven track record of taking initiatives from conception (0 to 1) and adeptly navigating ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, underpinned by a strategic mindset.
• High emotional intelligence and impeccable discretion, crucial for partnership roles.
• Robust problem-solving capabilities, paired with a proactive ownership mentality.
• Experience supporting C-suite executives in fast-paced environments is highly preferred.
• An MBA degree is considered a valuable asset.
