Head of Engineering

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Engineering based in India.

This is a pivotal technical leadership opportunity within an early-stage wearable sensing and robotics environment. The role owns end-to-end engineering execution for a body-worn sensing platform, from system architecture through production. You will lead a distributed team of hardware specialists across India and the US while remaining deeply hands-on with critical technical challenges. The position spans power systems, sensor synchronization, firmware, embedded Linux, mechanical engineering, and system integration. Your decisions will directly influence product reliability, wearability, performance, and the capabilities of the underlying technology. This is an on-site role in India with regular travel to San Francisco, approximately one week per month.
