Facility Security Officer

This role is responsible for managing and coordinating industrial security programs supporting Department of Defense and other federal government contracts. The Facility Security Officer will oversee personnel clearance processes, security documentation, training, access controls, and compliance activities across multiple sites. The position serves as a key point of contact for employees, leadership, government security representatives, and cross-functional teams. You will help ensure adherence to NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and applicable federal security policies. The role also involves supporting inspections, incident investigations, Insider Threat activities, and security education programs. Success requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage security requirements for a large distributed workforce. This is a remote position with nationwide travel as needed and occasional support outside standard business hours.
