Director of Business & People Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Business & People Operations based in the United States.

This is a senior, hands-on operations leadership role responsible for building the infrastructure that enables a fast-growing professional services organization to scale efficiently.
You will own utilization, capacity, workforce planning, delivery operations, people operations, and the systems that connect them.
Reporting directly to the CEO and participating in leadership discussions, you will have substantial influence over hiring, team economics, organizational design, and operating performance.
A major focus will be using AI and automation to eliminate repetitive work, improve decision-making, and create scalable operating systems.
You will lead a small team while partnering closely with finance, growth, customer, and client leadership functions.
The environment is remote, lean, profitable, experimental, and highly ownership-oriented, with significant autonomy to diagnose problems and build solutions.
