Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines across cloud platforms.
  • Build solutions for data transport and reconciliation.
  • Analyze, parse, and visualize large datasets for actionable insights.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data availability, integrity, security, and privacy issues.
  • Conduct reviews ensuring best practices in data design and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on data architecture and governance.
  • Participate in initiatives for improved reliability, performance, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience with Python, JavaScript/Node.js, and/or Go.
  • Strong knowledge in data structures, warehousing, and efficient coding practices.
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, cloud environments (AWS, GCP), and ETL processing.
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools such as BigQuery, S3, Kafka, and Kinesis.
  • Experience with data management, governance, security, and privacy compliance.
  • Knowledge of analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio).
  • Nice-to-have: certifications in cloud/database technologies, SOLID principles, Terraform, HIPAA compliance.
