Sr Principal Controls Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Principal Controls Engineer based in India.

This is a senior technical leadership role focused on designing, integrating, and optimizing advanced control systems for mission-critical infrastructure. You will define scalable automation architectures spanning PLCs, IPC-based controls, SCADA/HMI, BMS, EPMS, MES, and connected enterprise platforms. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership across data-center infrastructure, power and energy management, and industrial automation. You will influence system standards, drive complex integrations, and ensure high levels of reliability, safety, and performance. Working closely with electrical, mechanical, software, and facilities teams, you will help translate operational requirements into robust control solutions.
