This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Backend AI Software Engineer (all) - TypeScript / NodeJS based in Ireland.

As a Backend AI Software Engineer, you will design and build robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power innovative digital health products.
You will work primarily with TypeScript and Node.js to develop APIs, data processing pipelines, integrations, and distributed services.
The role combines hands-on software engineering with cloud infrastructure, database optimization, security, and AI-assisted development.
You will contribute to architectural decisions, performance improvements, automated testing, and reliable deployment across modern cloud environments.
Collaboration will be central, with close interaction across frontend engineering, product, design, and other technical teams.
