• Evaluate the impact of new functionalities on assigned solutions and execute automated regression tests according to established schedules, analyzing results, documenting errors, and coordinating necessary corrections.
• Execute, maintain, and continuously improve the internal testing framework by introducing new solutions, tools, techniques, and practices that enhance product quality.
• Plan, create, document, and execute manual and automated test cases based on technical and functional requirements.
• Contribute to the creation of automated test scenarios for new functionalities by analyzing specifications, technical documentation, and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain scripts for generating test data used in both manual and automated testing activities.
• Validate development processes, change proposals, documentation, and test deliverables to support compliance with established quality standards.
• Create quality indicators and metrics to identify the main sources of product issues and optimize regression testing efforts.
• Prepare and deliver management-level status reports covering testing progress, quality indicators, risks, and relevant findings.
• Train and support new team members in the use of testing tools, policies, processes, and internal frameworks.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a remote working environment.
• Help ensure that systems meet defined specifications and operate according to established quality standards.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience with software testing techniques and quality assurance activities.
• Proven experience planning, creating, executing, tracking, and reporting test cases and defects.
• Experience defining, monitoring, and reporting quality processes, metrics, and indicators.
• Advanced knowledge of functional testing for desktop and mobile applications, as well as usability testing.
• Basic knowledge of automated testing, performance testing, and API testing.
• Experience developing testing scripts and generating data for manual and automated test scenarios.
• Advanced knowledge of Gherkin, Kanoah, Jira, BDD, and Postman or SoapUI.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is desirable.
• Strong skills in test optimization, prioritization, organization, and managing competing demands.
• A proactive, curious, collaborative, goal-oriented, and detail-focused approach.
• Knowledge of retail business rules, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and/or ERP systems is a strong differentiator.
• Completed or ongoing undergraduate studies, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Comfortable working remotely, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and working full time from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Availability to work under a PJ contractor model using your own computer.
