AI Controls Solutions Engineer (HVAC Systems)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Controls Solutions Engineer (HVAC Systems) based in Canada.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced controls engineer to help bring AI-powered automation into large-scale industrial and data center environments.
You’ll combine deep HVAC and controls expertise with modern AI technologies to configure, deploy, and optimize intelligent control solutions.
The role sits at the intersection of engineering, data science, product development, and customer operations.
You’ll work directly with technical teams and enterprise customers to translate complex facility requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
Your work will include commissioning systems, troubleshooting live deployments, improving performance, and helping evolve the underlying product.
You’ll also contribute as a technical subject-matter expert, supporting customer success, product initiatives, and selected commercial activities.
With approximately 25% travel, this role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to shape how AI is applied to real-world HVAC and industrial control systems.
